Conditions & Safety
Trips operate in Florida state Gulf waters, and conditions can vary day to day
- Rain does not automatically cancel a trip
- Depending on wind and direction, saltwater spray is possible
- Offshore conditions may include wind, chop and heavy boat motion.
- If weather is unsafe, trips may be rescheduled or refunded
Safety decisions are always made with passenger comfort and conditions in mind.
If you’re prone to motion sickness, preparation helps, but seasickness can still occur even on calmer days.
- Take medication the night before and morning of your trip
- Stay hydrated
- Avoid heavy meals before departure
- Let the Captain know early if you’re not feeling well
Depending on trip type and location, returning to port may not always be possible. The Captain and First Mate will do their best to assist and make you as comfortable as possible while continuing the trip safely.
Trips are operated by a USCG-licensed Captain and conducted in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
- Required safety equipment onboard
- Pre-departure safety overview for all passengers
- Life jackets available for all passengers
- Any children under 90 lbs MUST be identified during booking so proper child-size life jackets can be provided
The checkout process requires the number of children and approximate weights to ensure the correct life jacket sizes are onboard prior to departure.
